Sunday’s Communion Bread
Our communion bread on Sunday, May 6 will beshortbread made by our Immanuel children during a cooking workshop in their IIQ unit on “The Journey of Abundance: The Feeding of the 5000.” A special thanks to Dana Pratt for leading this workshop and helping the children bake this communion bread.
IIQ
This week in IIQ we'll continue our study of “The Journey of Courage: Daniel, a Believer in Babylon.” All age levels will combine for a drama workshop which will feature a scriptless drama about Daniel in the Lion’s Den. It promises to be a “roaring” good session.
Morning Hour
Our Morning Hour educational program for Preschool & Kindergarten children takes place during the 9:00 a.m. Worship Hour. It is generally led by Dan and one adult volunteer, and a printed curriculum is provided for each Sunday. Volunteers other than the parents of the children are needed to help staff this program. Please speak to Dan Thomas.
Children's Choir
The "Good News! Singers" (Grades K-2) meets Sundays from 8:55-9:25 a.m. in the Music Room. "Jubilate" (Grades 3-6) rehearses Sundays from 9:25-10:05 (children go to Worship Service and then go to choir mid-service). Each choir sings at a worship service approximately once a month.
